I remember when finding fic for one of my fandoms was like trying to find a speakeasy: you had to know someone who would vouch for you, because if the archive even showed up in a search engine, the lawyers might find it. And those disclaimers at the beginning of fic started because of real fear, people got C&D letters and around the same time the RIAA taking people to court to make examples of them was big news. Antis should try living like that and then see how they feel about censorship.
