It’s my pleasure, dear heart, and it is part of true Star Trek tradition. Do you know about the Star Trek Welcommittee? Founded in 1972 and run by volunteers until sometime after the internet came into existence, it’s a perfect example of the open-arms welcome that Trek fans have offered new fans since the very earliest days. Any “older” fan who treats newer fans with anything less than warmth, kindness and every attempt at assistance does not know their own fandom history and hallowed tradition!
