THANK YOU to everyone who answered my survey, here is the final article with a smattering of the many amazing contributions. I had planned to post all the responses together in a few long posts, but every one is so wonderful I wanted to highlight the answers individually. Thus, I’ve made a sideblog dedicated to the project and will be posting 3-4 responses a day until I run out, at which point I will re-up the form. You can also submit posts and/or links to posts celebrating Star Trek and Star Trek fandom directly to the blog. 🖖
Lovely and indisputably meaningful stuff here. I look forward to reading more survey responses and, just possibly, to trying someday to articulate my own experiences with and thoughts about these fandoms.
