Look, does anyone else remember
…that thing during Warnings Wank (c. 2009, as I recall) in which the whole pro-warnings side insisted that this was not a slippery slope, and that demanding writers slap warnings on everything would not lead to censorship? And that it wasn’t about moral judgement and never would be?
Because I, sitting on this great dustbin lid as we continue to slide down this actually very slippery slope, certainly do. And I have laffed many a bitter laff because of it.
I have been vindicated by the march of time and I AM NOT PLEASED.
