guys, did you know that in 10 days – on 29 may 2017, it will be the 10th anniversary of strikethrough?
let me tell you a thing about your fandom history. back in the good ol days of livejournal, strikethrough/boldthrough were a series of purges done on livejournal blogs and communities done out of a moral panic raised by a right-wing internet watchdog group. in fact, one of the main reasons behind the founding of the organisation for @transformativeworks and the archive of our own is because of this – because fandom needed a space free from censorship.
fandom also left livejournal for this blue hellsite because of strikethrough and now, ten days before the 10 year anniversary of strikethrough, that entire shitlist wank has gone down in yoi fandom.

i just wanna say i would be totally down to do something on the 29th. to commemorate the 10th anniversary of strikethrough, i suggest we all post a fic to ao3 that day that specifically features at least one of the shitlist criteria.
