okay so the TOS in that is the Terms of Service, like the terms and conditions that you agree to if you’re going to use the website, yeah? If you want to have a livejournal, you have to agree to the livejournal terms of service.
Now, in 2016, the livejournal servers were moved from California to Russia, and now the previous terms and conditions have been changed to…okay so the post that breaks down what the terms and conditions say in more detail is here, but basically what it comes down to is your posts are supposed to abide by the laws of the Russian Federation, which is…scary because um. anything lgbtqia+ is illegal. also it says ‘no pornography’ so I’m guessing no sex scenes of any kind. and political posts criticizing russia are probably out, too.
I don’t want to scaremonger, and maybe I’m overreacting, but this seems very…Not Good to me.
Also, livejournal has a history of deleting people’s journals without warning according to ‘content purity’ ideas ANYWAY
