That post about LJ and fandom history had my curious. I wasn’t really into fandom before tumblr, but I was on LJ for quite a while, so I peeked at my account.
I joined LiveJournal in October of 2004, and really picked up with it in 200). I posted most consistently from 2005-2008, finally petering off in 2009. Last entry is October 2010, but really from April 2009-October 2010 it’s 99% LoudTwitter.
I haven’t even really tweeted in quite a while either.
I joined tumblr in late 2012.
I wasn’t really in fandom before tumblr. It was my journal thing and I had friends from Nanowrimo there. I don’t recall what I did between LJ and Tumblr… maybe just Facebook? I know before LJ I was on MySpace a little bit.
And I’ve always been in chat rooms. It was ICQ for quite a while. and AOL. and the Nanowrimo room (Which was/is IRC), and later Skype, which is where I hang now…. pretty much always if anyone ever wants to chat. heh.
