A
few months ago, I set out to do a thing. You see, I love fandom. I love
fan writers, artists, podcasters, statisticians, vidders, crafters, the
list is endless. I get excited when I see cool art/meta/cosplay/writing
(insert thing), because it’s the output of being super into something
and doing it out of love.
I too did this thing out of love,
because what all of you do as creators is pretty damn brilliant and I
didn’t know how else to show my squee at everybody than by creating a fansite about fanworks and the people who make them. (It’s kind of meta.)
So,
it’s a little anemic in parts as it’s just begun, but I will make it
grow as I plant more stories. Thank you for stopping by.

I’ll be sending out promo links to all of the articles over the next few days but I want to thank:
coloredink for being my very first interview, letting me Sykpe her to chat about Hannibal and food and religion and putting up with my numerous technical difficulties. (like even just now with her article!!!! AAAAAAHHHH!!!! (fixed tho)
the-mamishka for being really cool and honest and candid and for making her tell me the crazy interesting story of how Sherlock Seattle came to be (and having coffee!)
destinationtoast for walking me through her fandom stats analysis, impressing me with her Sherlocky super brain, and hanging out.
ireallyshouldbedrawing for just saying yes to my interview request!! I’m such a fangirl of hers that I was surprised and thrilled she shared her time and her art with me.
pangaeastarseedfor not thinking I was a crazy stalker for cold-emailing her for an interview, then taking two months out of her life to answer my GDocs interrogation questions about her Hannibal art. Then on top of it, sharing all of her gorgeous work with me.
moonblossom for just being awesome and open, and sharing about how she creates her art, and then sharing like ALL OF HER ART with me!! :-) (So cool!)
tiltedsyllogism for videochatting with me about Sherlock fusions, life, getting into fandom, the writing process and bonus points for super thinky thoughts about The Little Mermaid… (and Homer and Kipling!)
Thank you so much, mugenmine, for putting all this together! What an incredible labor of fandom love – I cannot WAIT to read it all!
