The Starsky & Hutch Archive has been preserving classic zine fiction since 1996. We’ve just transferred “Desperados” by Billie Phillips, a Huggy Award winning slash story originally published in 1985, in the zine, No Pants, No Badge, No Gun.

Desperado Summary: Hutch shrugged, refocusing his now embarrassing leer on Starsky’s knees. Is that all I want from him? A quick tumble… a slap and tickle and then “I’ll call you” as I race on to the next one.
No.
The answer came from deep within, with a rightness that immediately eased his fears. “I never slept with a woman I didn’t care for.” Well, that was a lie; but whatever else he did or was, he cared for Starsky. Why he cared for him was the one thing in his life he had learned not to question. Starsky wasn’t for public wonderings or private dissections. Starsky was for laughter and for tears. Starsky was for ever.
