Watch vidding history melt before your eyes.  A songtape made in the 1990s, improperly stored.  Luckily, I have another copy. This is part of our ongoing digitization efforts. Still I wonder, who will want to watch grainy VHS fan vids from 20-30 years ago? It is like tossing a message in a bottle to the future, not knowing who will read it or what they will think of your fanworks or fan culture.

PS. The vids on this tape are worth re-watching. Some of my favorite X-Files fanvids. The vidders had a wacky sense of humor and offbeat sensibility.
